Our Club’s Scholarship Trust provides funds for an Annual Scholarship of $1500 each year for a female student from each of the three former East York high schools who has graduated and is attending university:

• East York Collegiate Institute
• Leaside High School
• Marc Garneau Collegiate Institute

Young women from these schools may contact their Guidance Department for details.
In 2024 we introduced a new annual scholarship of $1500 awarded to an Indigenous female graduate, arranged through the Indigenous Urban Education Centre of the Toronto District School Board.

Our Club Anniversary Scholarship.
In celebration of the 100th anniversary of CFUW in 2019, our Club awarded an additional scholarship of $1500 to a woman from the Transitional Year Program at the University of Toronto annually to 2023.
In honour of our Club’s 70th Anniversary, this has been extended to 2024 and 2025.

Through our scholarships, we are proud to continue to support CFUW’s core mandate of supporting education for women and girls.

Recipients are invited to our Annual AGM. The young women who are able to attend always provide delightful presentations on their activities and university experiences.

Fellowships and awards are offered by the national office of CFUW through the CFUW Charitable Trust.
